These terms apply to use of Vidumaga.lk, an online education platform offering classes and related learning services. By registering, accessing a class, or using the platform, you agree to these terms. Parents or guardians should review them for students they assist.
Accounts and eligibility
Registration information must be accurate and kept up to date. Students, parents or guardians, and teachers are responsible for activity on their accounts and for keeping login credentials confidential. Parent or guardian accounts should be used to manage linked student access where applicable. Teachers must use their accounts only for authorised teaching activities. Account sharing or credential sharing is prohibited.
Classes, subscriptions, and access
Available classes, content, fees, and billing periods are shown in the relevant enrolment or payment flow. Charges may be monthly or subject-based where applicable. Paid access is normally granted only after successful payment confirmation. Free access, an authorised free card, or authorised temporary access may be offered where available. Access is limited to the enrolled student and the applicable class or subscription period.
Payments and refunds
Card payments are processed by third-party gateways such as PayHere. Payment confirmation may depend on the gateway or on verification of a manual payment. You are responsible for reviewing the class, amount, and student details before paying. Refunds and credits are governed by our Return / Refund Policy.
Learning content and intellectual property
Lessons, recordings, videos, documents, quizzes, exams, and other platform content are provided for personal educational use by authorised users. Unless the rights holder gives written permission, you may not copy, download where prohibited, redistribute, screen-record, publish, resell, or commercially reuse this content. Ownership of content remains with Vidumaga.lk or the relevant rights holder.
Conduct and communication
Participate respectfully in live classes and use teacher–student messaging for education-related communication. Harassment, bullying, abusive material, impersonation, fraud, piracy, scraping, attempts to access another account or system without permission, and interference with classes or platform security are prohibited. Teachers and students should keep communication appropriate for the educational setting.
Availability and account action
We aim to keep services available, but maintenance, connectivity problems, and third-party outages may interrupt access. Class schedules and features may change; we will communicate material changes where practical. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account for abuse, security concerns, or violations of these terms, subject to applicable law and any relevant paid-service obligations.
Responsibility and liability
Learning outcomes depend on individual participation and are not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Vidumaga.lk is not responsible for losses caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as internet or third-party service failures. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and governing law
We may update services and these terms. The current version and its last-updated date will be posted here. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated terms, where permitted by law. These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
